Flooding the Earth & Our Lives With the Book of Mormon

This quote comes from Teachings of the Presidents of the Church - Ezra Taft Benson, Lesson 10. Here is the link to the entire lesson. As with everything that our Heavenly Father asks of us, obedience to His request brings unimaginable blessings. By seriously studying the Book of Mormon, we are promised power. That power comes not at the end of our study, but the moment we begin a serious study. Here is the power President Benson promises the Lord will give us:

"You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path. The scriptures are called “the words of life” (D&C 84:85), and nowhere is that more true than it is of the Book of Mormon. When you begin to hunger and thirst after those words, you will find life in greater and greater abundance."

The lesson is filled with many other great promises. It is no wonder President Benson told us to flood our lives with the Book of Mormon. With the blessings that we see in our lives from heeding this prophetic counsel, wouldn't it be natural for us to want to share those blessings with others? Or maybe the question is better asked "Shouldn't it be?"
